Job Description

An experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist is needed for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in Toledo, Ohio. This opportunity offers consistent weekday scheduling with no call responsibilities and a supervised care model, making it well-suited for CRNAs seeking predictable hours and a steady case mix.

The assignment begins in March and is open to both full-time locum providers and local CRNAs interested in a PRN-style arrangement. Coverage spans both inpatient and outpatient settings, with providers assigned to a single facility per day.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in a supervised practice model
• Participate in a broad mix of routine surgical cases
• Rotate between inpatient and outpatient facilities as scheduled
• Deliver safe, efficient anesthesia care across multiple service lines
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with facility protocols

Case Mix

• Orthopedic procedures
• General surgery
• Endoscopy
• Gynecology
• Minor vascular and neuro cases

This role does not include cardiac anesthesia, obstetrics, transplant cases, high-acuity pediatric cases, or open-heart procedures.

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Monday through Friday schedule
• Five 8-hour shifts per week
• No call, nights, or weekend coverage
• Start date in March with ongoing needs
• Credentialing timeframe of approximately 30 to 60 days

Position Requirements

• Active Ohio CRNA license
• NBCRNA certification
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Ability to work across inpatient and outpatient environments
