Job Description

A CRNA is needed for a locum tenens opportunity in Palmer, Alaska, from February 17 to August 29. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM), with no weekends and no call required. The job setting includes both outpatient and inpatient care, and the cases involve spinal, epidural, regional blocks, obstetrics, neurosurgical cases, thoracic, complex orthopedic procedures, post-op epidurals, and post-op extremity blocks. The CRNA will also be responsible for ventilation management and managing acute volume/BP issues. The use of x-ray guidance for block performance is part of the role.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience with spinal, epidural, regional blocks, obstetrics, neurosurgery, thoracic, and complex orthopedic cases.
  • Proficient in post-op epidural and post-op extremity blocks.
  • Ability to manage ventilation and acute volume/BP issues.
  • Certification in ACLS required.
  • Active Alaska licensure required.
  • Credentialing time: 45 days.
