CRNA Job – High-Paying Locum Tenens in Charlottesville

Job Description

Exciting locum tenens opportunity for CRNAs in the scenic mountain town of Charlottesville, VA. This role offers flexible scheduling with 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, competitive hourly pay, and abundant overtime opportunities. Providers will work in a Level I trauma center environment, though trauma cases are rare. No call, no pediatrics, and no cardiac cases required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in outpatient endoscopy or main OR/ASC settings
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop care plans
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patient response during procedures
• Place arterial lines, spinals, and IVs as needed
• Stabilize and manage unstable patients when required

Compensation & Benefits

• $225 per hour base rate
• $270 per hour for overtime
• Daily pay range: $1,800 – $3,300 depending on hours worked
• Full-time shifts available
• Quick credentialing process for motivated providers

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with active licensure
• Experience handling unstable patients in hospital settings
• Comfortable in a Level I trauma center (traumas rare)
• Flu and COVID vaccinations required (no waivers)

Schedule & Work Environment

• Shifts available: 8, 10, or 12 hours
• Weekends optional for maximizing consecutive days off
• 13+ week contracts considered
• No call, no pediatrics, no cardiac cases
