CRNA Locum Opportunity Rochester New York High Weekly Pay Trauma Center Experience
Job Description
A long-term locum tenens opportunity is available for CRNAs in Rochester and surrounding upstate New York. This role offers strong weekly earnings, flexible scheduling options, and the opportunity to work in a Level II Trauma Center with a collaborative care team model.
CRNAs will handle a broad range of bread-and-butter cases while working with a 1:3 care team ratio, often functioning with a high degree of autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for general and routine surgical cases
- Perform epidurals, spinal anesthesia, and regional blocks
- Manage airway and ventilation during procedures
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop care plans
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
- Document anesthesia care using EPIC EMR system
Compensation & Benefits
- $250/hour base rate
- Daily rate range: $2,500 – $3,000
- Weekly earnings:
- 40 hours: $11,400 (includes $1,400 stipend)
- 50 hours: $13,900
- 60 hours: $16,400
- $1,400 weekly stipend
- Flight reimbursement provided

- License assistance and reimbursement available
- Credentialing assistance provided

Job Requirements
- Active or eligible New York CRNA license
- NBCRNA certification required
- Experience with epidurals, spinal anesthesia, and regional blocks
- Comfort working in a care team model with autonomy
Schedule & Work Environment
- Locum tenens (1099)
- Start date: As soon as credentialed (approximately 45–75 days)
- Assignment length: 6 months to 1 year
- Flexible scheduling: Full-time preferred, minimum 2 weeks per month accepted
- Shifts: 10-hour shifts
- Minimum 40 hours per week, up to 60 hours guaranteed
- Call, overtime, and weekend opportunities available
- Level II Trauma Center
- Approximately 1,700 deliveries per year
- Care team model (1:3 ratio) with CRNAs frequently running rooms independently
