Job Description

This locum CRNA assignment in Knoxville, Tennessee provides an exciting opportunity to work across two major hospital systems while managing a wide range of case types. With 18 anesthesia rooms and a high-demand environment, this position is ideal for providers seeking a dynamic, clinically diverse locum experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia care for a broad case mix including general, neuro, ortho, cardiac, GYN, urology, robotics, ENT, plastics, pediatrics, GI, IR, and cath lab
• Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans
• Work within a supervised model under MD oversight (5:1 CRNA-to-MD ratio)
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures and manage emergence and recovery transitions
• Document care accurately within the Cerner EMR system

Compensation & Benefits

Job Requirements

• Active Tennessee state license preferred
• Ability to manage a wide variety of surgical and procedural case types
• Comfort working within a high-volume supervised anesthesia model
• Flexibility to rotate between two hospital systems
• Experience with Cerner EMR helpful (training available)

Schedule & Work Environment

• Supervised anesthesia practice
• CRNA-to-MD ratio of 5:1
• 18 anesthesia rooms across two campuses
• MDs do not perform their own cases
