Job Description

AIM Anesthesia is seeking an experienced CRNA for a high-acuity locum tenens assignment at a Level I Trauma Center in Columbia, South Carolina. This all-inclusive 1099 role offers top-tier compensation, Epic charting, and exposure to a broad, complex case mix in a large academic-style hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in a Level I trauma hospital setting
• Manage complex and high-acuity surgical and procedural cases
• Participate in supervised anesthesia care model
• Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR

Case Mix

• General Surgery
• Vascular
• Neurosurgery
• Orthopedics
• Obstetrics
• Pediatrics (age 2+)
• Interventional Radiology
• Endoscopy
• Electrophysiology
• Radiology

Schedule & Call

• 12-hour shifts preferred
• 8-hour and 10-hour shifts available
• One weekend call every 3 months (two 12-hour day shifts)
• Locum Tenens – ongoing coverage

Compensation

• $265 per hour standard rate
• $300 per hour overtime
• $3,200–$3,600 per day
• All-inclusive 1099 compensation

Job Requirements

• Active CRNA certification
• Ability to work in a supervised anesthesia model
• Comfort with high-acuity trauma and specialty cases
