Iowa Locum CRNA Role with Solo Practice and Premium Call Pay
Job Description
Locum Tenens CRNA opportunity in Iowa offering a solo practice clinical environment with strong scheduling flexibility and premium call compensation. The facility operates five ORs and provides hands-on anesthesia autonomy across a broad case mix.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage solo CRNA duties within a five-OR hospital setting
- Perform neuraxial anesthesia including spinals, epidurals, and regional blocks
- Support surgical volume that includes bread-and-butter cases across multiple specialties
- Participate in light weekly call with optional weekend coverage
- Collaborate with the OR and anesthesia team for safe patient care
Compensation & Benefits
- $245 per hour with an eight-hour daily guarantee
- $400 per weeknight call stipend
- $1,800 per 24-hour weekend call
- Call back paid at $260 per hour with a two-hour minimum
- $35 per day meal stipend
- Lodging provided
- Mileage reimbursement at IRS rate
Job Requirements
- ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications
- Iowa state substance certificate and federal DEA
- Experience performing regional blocks and neuraxial anesthesia preferred
- Comfortable managing a solo CRNA clinical workflow
- EPIC EMR familiarity is helpful
Schedule & Work Environment
- Locum Tenens assignment
- Full-time preferred; 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off options available
- Five 8-hour shifts preferred; 10-hour shifts considered
- Call approximately one night per week, light volume
- 50-bed community hospital
