Job Description
A Kansas facility is seeking a locum tenens CRNA to begin November 17th for ongoing coverage. This role offers consistent weekday hours, call responsibilities, and a wide variety of cases. Providers must be skilled in blocks, spinals, and epidurals. Competitive hourly pay plus malpractice, housing, and travel are included.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services across multiple specialties including ENDO, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, ENT, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry
- Perform blocks, spinals, and epidurals
- Collaborate with surgical and perioperative teams to ensure safe patient care
- Manage post-anesthesia recovery and follow-up
Compensation & Benefits
- $250/hour regular rate; $265/hour overtime
- $300 per weeknight call
- $1,000 per 24-hour weekend call
- $265/hour call-back rate
- Malpractice, housing, and travel covered
Job Requirements
- CRNA certification with Kansas state licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in blocks, spinals, and epidurals
- Experience across diverse case mix preferred
- Strong adaptability for locum assignments
Schedule & Work Environment
- Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm
- Call rotation: 1:2 (every other night & weekend)
- All-CRNA team: 2 CRNAs daily covering 3 rooms
- EMR system: EPIC
