Job Description
A hospital-based medical center in New Hampshire is seeking multiple Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for a high-paying locum tenens assignment with long-term potential. This opportunity is ideal for CRNAs looking for consistent weekday scheduling, strong daily rates, and a well-supported anesthesia department with expedited credentialing.
CRNAs will practice in a medically directed care team model and contribute to a broad inpatient case mix. The facility offers predictable shift options, reliable staffing support, and coverage needs that allow both local and traveling CRNAs to participate. Weekend beeper call is required, though callback volume is reported to be minimal.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services in a hospital-based inpatient setting
- Participate in preoperative assessments and anesthesia planning
- Administer anesthesia under medical direction with MD supervision (3:1 ratio)
- Manage airways and intraoperative anesthesia care
- Support postoperative transitions and patient handoffs
- Accurately document anesthesia care using Meditech and limited paper charting

- Obstetric anesthesia
Schedule & Work Structure
- Locum tenens assignment starting ASAP with long-term potential
- 8-hour or 10-hour shifts available
- Typical shift times: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Weekend beeper call required with low callback volume
- Local locums accepted with expedited credentialing options
Compensation & Benefits
- Daily pay range equivalent to approximately $2,100–$2,700 per day
- Competitive hourly compensation reflecting $270/hour
- Travel and lodging expenses covered
- Malpractice insurance provided (coverage limit: $1,000,000)
Job Requirements
- Active New Hampshire CRNA license required
- NBCRNA certification required
- ACLS and PALS required
- Minimum of six months of CRNA experience
