Job Description

A busy hospital in Huntington, West Virginia is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for ongoing locum tenens coverage beginning in November. This assignment offers a collaborative medical direction model with strong CRNA autonomy and a diverse but manageable case mix in a Level II trauma setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for general, regional, and trauma-related cases
• Work within a medical direction model (1:3–1:4 MD to CRNA ratio)
• Deliver bread-and-butter anesthesia services with high professional autonomy
• Participate in pager-based call coverage as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR

Schedule & Work Environment

• Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Board certification required
• Prescriptive authority required
• Comfort working in a trauma-capable hospital environment
• No OB, pediatric, or transplant cases
