Job Description

This locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) position at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, New Jersey offers flexible scheduling within a hospital-based anesthesia department. The assignment is designed for experienced CRNAs seeking a short- to mid-term engagement with a diverse surgical case mix and a collaborative care model. The facility is seeking multiple providers to support consistent OR coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for scheduled inpatient and outpatient procedures
• Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop anesthesia care plans
• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care as clinically indicated
• Monitor patients throughout all phases of anesthesia and recovery handoff
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff
• Maintain accurate anesthesia documentation within the facility EMR system

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Flexible shift options: 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts

Job Requirements

• Active New Jersey CRNA license required
