Locum CRNA Assignment in Manchester
Job Description
This locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) opportunity is located in Manchester, New Hampshire and offers a flexible schedule with a diverse surgical case mix. This assignment is well suited for CRNAs who are comfortable working across multiple service lines and are open to a call rotation in a hospital-based setting.
The position is available through AMN Healthcare and is structured as a 1099 independent contractor role. Coverage can begin as soon as credentialing is completed, with an estimated credentialing timeframe of approximately 60 days. Contract options include three-month or six-month terms, with the possibility to extend based on mutual interest and ongoing coverage needs.
CRNAs in this role will provide anesthesia services for a wide variety of procedures, including gastrointestinal, gynecologic, general surgery, obstetrics, orthopedics, pediatrics (ENT), and urology cases. The schedule offers flexibility with 8-hour and 10-hour day shifts available. Call coverage is required on a 1:5 pager rotation, and weekend call participation is expected as part of the role.
The practice model for this assignment will be determined at the facility level, and documentation is completed using a paper charting system. Lodging and rental or mileage stipends are provided to support traveling clinicians. Malpractice insurance is covered, including tail coverage, allowing for a more seamless locum experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for GI, GYN, general surgery, OB, ortho, pediatric ENT, and urology cases
- Participate in a 1:5 pager call rotation, including weekend call
- Deliver safe and effective anesthesia services across a broad surgical spectrum
- Complete accurate documentation using a paper-based charting system
- Collaborate with surgical, nursing, and anesthesia teams

Job Requirements
- Active New Hampshire APRN license
- NBCRNA certification
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Ability to work across multiple surgical specialties
