Job Description
This locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) opportunity is located in Providence, Rhode Island, and offers a hospital-based assignment with a highly desirable schedule and fast start potential. The position is ideal for CRNAs seeking consistent weekday hours without the burden of nights, weekends, or call responsibilities.
The assignment is available for an immediate start, with emergency privileges offered and credentialing that can be completed in as little as a few days. CRNAs in this role will work a Monday through Friday schedule consisting of four 10-hour shifts. Availability on Mondays and Fridays is required. The practice environment is hospital-based and provides exposure to a broad mix of cases while maintaining predictable daytime hours and strong operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care in a hospital setting
- Manage a diverse case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, bariatrics, dental, spinal, obstetrics, and pediatric cases
- Deliver safe and effective anesthesia services in accordance with hospital protocols
- Collaborate with surgical teams and perioperative staff to support efficient patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to clinical standards

- Schedule: 4×10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday

Job Requirements
- Active Rhode Island CRNA license
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Ability to work in a hospital-based anesthesia environment
Compensation & Coverage
- 1099 independent contractor position
- Malpractice insurance provided by Anesthesia OnCall
