Locum CRNA – GI Diagnostic Center Coverage in Columbia

Job Description

Medely is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide locum coverage at the Howard County Gastrointestinal Diagnostic Center in Columbia, Maryland. This short-term assignment offers consistent weekday hours, competitive daily rates, and the opportunity to work in a specialized GI-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective anesthesia care for gastrointestinal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Administer general anesthesia, intravenous sedation, and moderate sedation as appropriate to each case.
• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations, monitor intraoperative anesthesia, and ensure safe patient recovery post-procedure.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.

Compensation & Schedule

• Daily Rate: $1,500–$1,600 (1099)
• Assignment Dates: November 24, 2025 – February 18, 2026
• Schedule: Weekdays; hours typically align with GI procedural volumes
• Case Type: Gastrointestinal endoscopy and related procedures
• Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
• NBCRNA certification
• Active Maryland CRNA license (or eligibility)
• Credentialed or eligible with major insurers including Aetna, CareFirst, Cigna, Kaiser, TriCare, United HealthCare, and Medicaid
• Experience in GI or outpatient procedural anesthesia preferred
