Locum CRNA – High-Volume Surgical Center in West Reading (Level 1 Trauma, No OB, M–F 10s)

Job Description

Royal Surgical Associates is seeking a full-time locum CRNA to join a high-volume Level 1 trauma facility in West Reading, Pennsylvania. The position offers a diverse caseload including neurosurgical, cardiac (non-open heart), healthy pediatric, and complex vascular cases in both inpatient and outpatient settings. No OB cases and no call required.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
• Work under anesthesiologist supervision in a collaborative environment
• Participate in surgeries involving mitral clips, watchmans, neurosurgical procedures, healthy peds, and vascular
• Ensure patient safety across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op stages

Compensation & Benefits

• Overtime eligible after 40 hours/week

• Supportive anesthesia techs and surgical clinical assistants (SCAs)

Job Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania CRNA license
• NBCRNA certification
• Proficiency in advanced anesthesia techniques
• Full-time availability (3–4 weeks per month)

Schedule & Work Environment

• Schedule: 4×10 hour shifts, Monday–Friday
• No call responsibilities
• Supervised position within a large surgical team
• Inpatient and outpatient surgical cases
