Locum CRNA in Maine – $250/hr + Call Pay, Travel & Housing

Job Description

Seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in Maine starting this July. Enjoy an alternating schedule of 2 weeks on, 1 week off with competitive pay, full autonomy, and all expenses covered. This independent CRNA-only practice offers a focused case mix, flexible scheduling, and the option to convert to a highly lucrative perm position ($350K, 1099, 17 weeks off annually).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent anesthesia care in a two-CRNA model
• Manage general, urology, endoscopy, and GYN cases (no OB)
• Perform spinals, epidurals, and ultrasound-guided blocks (training available)
• Take first-call every night during week one; no call during week two

Compensation & Benefits

• Locum rate: $250/hr
• Overtime: $265/hr
• Call Pay: $300/weeknight, $1,000/24-hour weekend call
• Paid travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance
• Perm conversion optional: $350,000 (1099) with 17 weeks off

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Eligible for Maine state licensure
• Proficient in spinals and epidurals; ultrasound skills required (can train for blocks)
• Comfortable working independently in a two-OR, CRNA-only environment

Schedule & Work Environment

• 2 weeks on / 1 week off rotation
• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Call: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM, every night of week one; week two is call-free
• Independent CRNA-only team (2 total CRNAs)
• Small rural hospital with 2 ORs and limited case types
