Locum CRNA in Northern Vermont – $260/hr + Call Pay & OT

Job Description

Seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a high-paying locum tenens assignment in Northern Vermont. This ongoing opportunity begins June 19, 2025, with flexible dates through fall. Work weekdays with shared call coverage in a medically supervised environment. Travel, housing, malpractice, and generous compensation are included. Ideal for providers who are proficient in blocks, spinals, and epidurals across a variety of cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for ortho, general surgery, OB/GYN, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, endo, plastics, and pediatrics
• Perform regional techniques including blocks, spinals, and epidurals
• Take 1 weeknight call per week and 1 weekend call per month (beeper, 30-minute response time)
• Work in a team model with 2 MDs and 3 CRNAs daily (60% medical supervision)

Compensation & Benefits

• $260/hour standard rate
• $265/hour overtime rate
• $300 per weeknight call | $1,000 per 24-hour weekend call
• Paid travel, housing, and malpractice insurance
• 1099 independent contractor position

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Eligible for licensure in Vermont
• Proficiency in blocks, spinals, and epidurals required
• Must be comfortable in a medically supervised model with independent judgment

Schedule & Work Environment

• Weekdays: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (some days to 5:00 PM)
• Call: 1 weeknight/week, 1 weekend/month
• 380 deliveries/year including C-sections and VBACs
• 67% callback rate on average
