Locum CRNA in Phoenix | Level I Trauma & High-Risk OB | 12-Hour Shifts

Anesthesia Solutions is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for a locum tenens assignment in Phoenix, Arizona. This opportunity is based at a Level I Trauma Center with a strong emphasis on high-risk obstetrics and trauma coverage. The position is well-suited for CRNAs who are confident managing complex OB cases and who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.

This full-time locum role offers a structured schedule with guaranteed hours, competitive industry-leading compensation, and a defined contract length of four to six months with the option to extend. CRNAs with at least one year of current obstetric experience are encouraged to apply, and prior trauma experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for general surgery, trauma, and obstetric cases
• Manage high-risk OB patients in both scheduled and urgent scenarios
• Participate in anesthesia coverage for operating room and obstetric units
• Deliver safe and effective anesthesia services within a supervised practice model
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary care teams

Schedule & Work Environment

• 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Combination of day and night shifts based on departmental needs
• Approximately three to six night shifts per month
• Night shifts may involve OB or main operating room coverage
• Supervised anesthesia practice model

Job Requirements

• Minimum of one year of current obstetric anesthesia experience
• Trauma anesthesia experience strongly preferred
• Active Arizona CRNA license or willingness to obtain
• Ability to credential quickly (approximately 6 weeks with AZ license)
• Comfort working nights and high-acuity clinical settings
