Job Description

CRNA Locum Jobs is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an independent practice locum opportunity in scenic Southern Vermont. This role offers full autonomy, a wide case mix, competitive hourly pay, and optional call coverage starting January 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia services independently for a variety of surgical specialties, including obstetrics, orthopedics, endoscopy, general surgery, and urology.
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments, develop individualized anesthesia plans, and manage patient care from induction through recovery.
• Ensure safe anesthesia delivery in accordance with facility policies and professional standards.
• Collaborate with nursing and surgical staff to maintain efficient OR flow and high-quality patient outcomes.

Compensation & Schedule

• Hourly Rate: $260/hour (1099)
• Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week
• Call: Optional
• Travel & Lodging: Negotiable
• Start Date: January 2026

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
• NBCRNA certification
• Active Vermont CRNA license (or eligibility)
• Experience in independent or rural anesthesia practice preferred
