Job Description
A locum tenens opportunity is available for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Denton, Texas. This assignment places you in a dynamic North Texas healthcare environment, delivering anesthesia services across a variety of surgical specialties in a well-supported medical direction model.
This position is ideal for experienced CRNAs seeking a structured schedule with consistent case types and no requirement for regional anesthesia techniques. Providers will collaborate closely with anesthesiologists and surgical teams while working in a modern clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general anesthesia for orthopedic, vascular, gynecology, and GI procedures
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans
- Monitor patients throughout procedures ensuring safety and stability
- Deliver post-anesthesia care and oversee patient recovery
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists in a medical direction model
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active and unrestricted Texas CRNA license required

Schedule & Work Environment
- Locum tenens assignment with approximately 6 month duration
- Start date scheduled with credentialing timeline
- Four shifts per week
- 10-hour shift structure

- No requirement for regional anesthesia including blocks, spinals, or epidurals
- Case mix includes general, orthopedic, vascular, gynecology, and GI procedures
