Locum CRNA – Northeastern Montana | Fall Coverage | Independent Practice + Call

Job Description

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens assignment at a hospital in northeastern Montana. This position provides fall vacation coverage at a 109-bed Level IV trauma center, offering independent practice in a collaborative team environment. Lodging is provided via a dedicated provider apartment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia care independently for a range of surgical and OB/GYN cases.
• Perform peripheral nerve blocks and obstetric anesthesia.
• Participate in call coverage alongside 2 other CRNAs.
• Manage 2–3 traumas per month and support approximately 180 OB/GYN deliveries annually.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient care records.

Job Requirements

• NBCRNA-certified CRNA.
• Active Montana license (or eligibility to obtain).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA).

Schedule & Work Environment

• Fall 2025 vacation coverage assignment.
• Day shifts: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Call: 4 days required during coverage period.
• Work with a team of 2 other CRNAs.
• Facility: 109-bed hospital, Level IV trauma center.
