Locum CRNA (Northeastern Wyoming) with Call Pay
Job Description
A hospital-based anesthesia service in northeastern Wyoming is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for a locum tenens assignment beginning May 2026. This opportunity offers strong hourly compensation with guaranteed minimums, flexible coverage options, and a diverse case mix that includes regional anesthesia and obstetrics. Coverage may be structured as sporadic shifts or one full week per month.
Practice Environment
This is a care-team anesthesia model in which anesthesiologists provide a combination of medical supervision and independent room coverage. The practice supports efficient workflows and a well-established orthopedic service line. Lodging and travel reimbursement are provided for locum providers.
Case Mix & Anesthesia Scope
- Orthopedic anesthesia with significant regional volume
- ENT procedures
- Pediatric cases (non-complex)
- Rare trauma and transport cases
- Occasional pacemaker cases
- Labor epidurals required
- No cardiac, neuro, or vascular anesthesia
Schedule & Workload
- Locum tenens position
- Coverage options include sporadic shifts or one week per month
- Monday through Friday schedule
- 8-hour daily minimum guaranteed
- Optional weekday first-call beeper coverage
- Post-call day is a partial day reimbursed at 8-hour minimum
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provision of anesthesia care in a care-team model
- Performance of regional anesthesia for orthopedic cases
- Placement of labor epidurals
- Preoperative evaluation and intraoperative management
- Post-anesthesia care and patient handoff
Compensation & Employment Structure
- Hourly rate: $230 per hour with 8-hour daily minimum
- Overtime and callback rate: $250 per hour with 2-hour minimum
- Weekday first-call beeper stipend: $400
- Daily meal per diem: $35 per day
- Lodging and travel reimbursement provided
- Employment model: 1099
Candidate Requirements
- Active Wyoming CRNA license required
- NBCRNA certification required
- Minimum experience required
- ACLS required
- PALS required
- Must be comfortable placing labor epidurals independently
- New graduates not accepted
