Job Description

Tranquility Anesthesia is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for part-time locum coverage at a busy Eye Center in Locust Grove, Georgia. This position offers consistent Thursday shifts, a supportive CRNA team, and an easy-paced ophthalmology case mix with guaranteed hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient anesthesia care for ophthalmic procedures, primarily vitrectomy and cataract surgeries.
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and ensure patient safety throughout anesthesia delivery and recovery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and fellow CRNAs to maintain smooth clinical workflow.
• Support anesthesia operations across multiple facilities as needed for expanded scheduling opportunities.

Compensation & Schedule

• Hourly Rate: $190/hour
• Daily Guarantee: 8 hours (equivalent to $1,520/day)
• Schedule: Thursdays, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
• Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
• Case Type: Ophthalmology (Vitreoretinal and Cataract)

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
• NBCRNA certification
• Active Georgia CRNA license (or eligibility)
• Experience in outpatient or ophthalmology anesthesia preferred
