Locum CRNA Opportunity in Cumberland – No Call Flexible Shifts Quick Credentialing
Job Description
An established community hospital in Cumberland, Maryland is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens assignment. This opportunity offers a quick start, flexible shift options, and a supportive clinical environment within a Level 3 hospital setting.
CRNAs will work within a supervision model, providing anesthesia care for a variety of general and bread-and-butter cases. This assignment is ideal for providers seeking a consistent schedule with no call, nights, or weekend responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for general surgical and routine procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop care plans
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and ensure safety
- Provide post-anesthesia care and recovery monitoring
- Assist with OB cases and perform peripheral nerve blocks as needed
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams in a supervision model

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Eligible for or willing to obtain Maryland state licensure
- NBCRNA certification required
- Experience with general anesthesia, OB, and regional techniques preferred
- Ability to work in a supervision care model
Schedule & Work Environment
- Locum tenens assignment with 4 to 12 month duration
- Flexible shift options including 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts
- No call, nights, or weekend requirements
- Practice within a Level 3 hospital with approximately 200 beds
- 9 anesthesia rooms with a collaborative clinical team
- Charting system: iPro
