Job Description

AIM Anesthesia is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time independent locum tenens position in Western Oregon. This opportunity offers exceptional pay, autonomy, and full travel support — including housing, flights, and rental car. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full anesthesia services independently across a variety of cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, endoscopy, and healthy pediatrics.
  • Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop patient-specific anesthesia plans.
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patient status intraoperatively and postoperatively.
  • Participate in call rotation (1 weekday per week and 1 weekend per month).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in OB anesthesia when on call.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $260/hour base rate
  • $350/hour overtime rate
  • Daily compensation range: $2,600–$3,600+
  • 1099 independent contractor status
  • Housing provided by the hospital
  • Flights and rental car fully covered
  • Independent practice model with high clinical autonomy

Job Requirements

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Active Oregon CRNA license required
  • Comfortable working independently without supervision
  • Proficiency in general, orthopedic, OB/GYN, and endoscopic cases
  • Experience providing OB anesthesia preferred
  • Strong decision-making and patient management skills

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-time locum position
  • Four 10-hour shifts per week (4×10 schedule)
  • Call required: 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend per month
  • Independent practice model in a supportive hospital setting
  • Collaborative clinical environment with diverse case exposure
