Locum Tenens CRNA – $265/Hour | CRNA-Led Facility

Job Description

GQR is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens opportunity in Kansas. This CRNA-led facility offers an exceptional professional environment, competitive pay, and diverse case exposure. The position includes weekday hours, shared call responsibilities, and opportunities to provide full-spectrum anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical specialties—including OB, ortho, and general surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for a broad range of procedures including OB, general surgery, orthopedics, total joints, urology, cataracts, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, OBGYN, and interventional pain.
• Administer anesthesia independently in a CRNA-led facility.
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments, develop anesthesia plans, and monitor patients intra- and postoperatively.
• Participate in call rotation and provide 24-hour coverage as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR.

Compensation & Benefits

• $265/hour
• 1099 independent contractor status

• Enrollment in the Kansas PCF (Patient Compensation Fund) required—covered under agency malpractice insurance

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Kansas CRNA license (must not have previously worked in Kansas under this client)
• Experience and comfort with OB anesthesia required
• Proficiency across multiple case types including general, ortho, urology, and pain management
• Ability to work independently in a CRNA-led practice model

Schedule & Work Environment

• Locum Tenens position, Monday–Friday
• Day shifts: 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. (1 OR/OB and 1 OR)
• Secondary shifts: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (1 OR/GI/EYE)
• Call coverage required: 3:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. weekdays and 24-hour call on weekends
• CRNA-led facility with collaborative, supportive clinical environment
• Epic EMR system
