Independence Anesthesia Services (IAS) is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in Fort Worth, Texas. This full-time opportunity offers a 40-hour work week with no nights, weekends, holidays, or call. Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in an OR/surgical department setting under a medically supervised model.
• Administer anesthesia for a wide variety of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, general, GYN, urology, and pain management cases.
• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations, develop tailored anesthesia plans, and monitor patients throughout surgery and recovery.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff to ensure safe and efficient case flow.
• Maintain thorough anesthesia documentation and comply with facility policies and standards of care.

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Texas CRNA license required
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Comfortable working in a medically supervised model
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Schedule & Work Environment

• Locum Tenens position beginning ASAP
• 6-month assignment with option to extend
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5×8-hour shifts (40 hours per week guaranteed)
• No nights, weekends, holidays, or call
• Medically supervised practice model in a hospital OR/surgery department
• Credentialing timeframe: approximately 60–90 days
