Locum Tenens CRNA – Minneapolis – Daily pay: $2,000–$3,000
Job Description
AMN Healthcare is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide locum tenens coverage in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is an ongoing, full-time opportunity with excellent compensation, paid travel and lodging, and a diverse case mix in a high-performing clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures including pediatrics, orthopedics, urology, complex spine, ophthalmology, and plastics.
- Perform thorough pre-anesthetic evaluations and create tailored anesthesia plans.
- Monitor and adjust anesthetic levels intraoperatively to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to maintain quality standards and efficient workflow.
- Complete detailed and accurate patient documentation using EPIC EMR.
Compensation & Benefits
- Daily pay: $2,000–$3,000 (depending on experience and case mix).
- Travel and lodging expenses fully covered.
- 1099 independent contractor status.
- Ongoing assignment with start date as soon as credentialed.
- Radius restriction: candidates must reside at least 60 miles outside Minneapolis.
Job Requirements
- Current CRNA certification through the NBCRNA.
- Active Minnesota RN and CRNA license (or eligibility).
- Board certification required.
- Experience with pediatric, orthopedic, and complex spine anesthesia preferred.
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time locum role, Monday–Friday.
- 10-hour shifts.
- No call, weekends, or holidays required.
- Collaborative anesthesia team with a mix of high-acuity and specialty cases.
