Locum Tenens CRNA – OB & Epidural Coverage in Carson City

Job Description

This locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) opportunity is located in Carson City, Nevada, and offers day-shift coverage with a primary focus on obstetric anesthesia and epidural management. The position operates within a care team model and is ideal for CRNAs seeking a structured locum assignment with the option to extend beyond the initial contract term.

The assignment includes 8-hour daytime shifts with OB call responsibilities. Call and weekend coverage are part of a rotating schedule to be determined. This role supports obstetric services and requires comfort with epidurals and OB anesthesia coverage.

Credentialing is estimated to take 60–90 days, with a start date as soon as credentialing is complete. Contract options include 3-month and 6-month terms, with extension opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for obstetric cases, including epidural placement
• Participate in OB call coverage based on rotational scheduling
• Deliver anesthesia services within a care team practice model
• Collaborate with anesthesia and obstetric teams to ensure safe patient care

Schedule & Call

• 8-hour day shifts

Compensation & Travel

• Pay rate available upon inquiry

Job Requirements

• Active APRN license
• NBCRNA certification
• ACLS and BLS required
