Job Description

A hospital in Lake Charles, Louisiana is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a locum tenens assignment with an immediate start and a six-month duration. This opportunity offers consistent scheduling, no call responsibilities, and a manageable hospital-based case mix.

CRNAs in this role will practice under a loosely supervised care model and support a variety of surgical services. The facility is open to full-time locum coverage but will also consider providers available for a minimum of two weeks per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, and obstetric cases
• Perform spinal anesthesia as part of routine case coverage
• Manage anesthesia care under loose supervision
• Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period
• Maintain accurate and timely anesthesia documentation

Compensation & Benefits

• $205 per hour base compensation

Job Requirements

• Current CRNA certification in good standing
• Eligibility for licensure in the state of Louisiana
• Comfort with general, OB, orthopedic, ENT, and spinal anesthesia
• Ability to work in a loosely supervised hospital setting

Schedule & Work Environment

• Locum tenens assignment with ASAP start
• Shift options include 10- and 12-hour shifts
• Minimum commitment of two weeks per month
• Level III Trauma Center
• No cardiac or pediatric cases
