Locum Tenens CRNA Opportunity with Completion Bonus – Exeter Hospital

Job Overview

We need an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens assignment at Exeter Hospital in Exeter, New Hampshire. This opportunity offers a strong clinical mix, flexible shift options, and a generous $20,000 completion bonus for CRNAs who commit to and complete the required hours. The position is well-suited for providers comfortable working in a hospital-based care team model with exposure to general, orthopedic, pediatric, and obstetric anesthesia.

This is an ongoing assignment with the option to extend beyond the initial 12-week commitment. Expedited privileging may be available, making this an attractive option for CRNAs seeking a relatively fast start.

Facility & Practice Environment

• Hospital setting with 9 anesthesia rooms
• Care team model with MD supervision (3:1 ratio)
• Anesthesiologists also perform their own cases
• Charting systems: Meditech and paper
• Practice limited to one hospital with an associated surgery center

Case Mix

• General surgery
• Orthopedic procedures
• Pediatric cases
• Obstetric anesthesia

Schedule & Call Responsibilities

• Shift options: 8-hour or 10-hour shifts
• 8-hour shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 10-hour shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Overtime not expected
• Weekend beeper call required (callback rate under 5%)
• Weeknight and weekend pager call preferred
• No in-house call required

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly compensation
• $20,000 completion bonus after 520 hours worked within 17 consecutive weeks

Licensure & Requirements

• Active New Hampshire CRNA license or eligibility to obtain
• NBCRNA board certification required
• Comfort with pediatric and OB cases preferred
• Commitment to scheduled shifts and call responsibilities
• New graduates not accepted for this role
