Job Description

This locum tenens CRNA role in Putnam, Connecticut offers a stable daytime schedule, a wide mix of cases, supportive supervision, and a generous completion bonus. No call is required, and travel, lodging, and malpractice with tail coverage are fully provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across a broad case mix including general, colorectal, OB/GYN, ortho, urology, ENT, spine, ophthalmology, GI, cardioversions, pacemakers, and pediatrics (age 1+)
• Perform thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans
• Work in a supervised care-team model alongside 4 MDs and 3 CRNAs (1:2.5 supervision ratio)
• Deliver safe anesthesia care across 5 anesthesia locations
• Document anesthesia care using paper charting methods

Job Requirements

• Active Connecticut license preferred (30–60 day privileging)
• Applicants without CT license eligible (60–120 day privileging)
• Comfort with pediatrics (age 1+), especially ENT
• Ability to manage a broad case variety

Schedule & Work Environment

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• No call, nights, or weekends
• 4 MDs and 3 CRNAs
• Five anesthesia sites
• Paper charting
