Locum Tenens CRNA – Weekday Shifts in Honolulu, Hawaii

Job Description

AMN Healthcare is seeking an experienced CRNA for an independent locum tenens assignment in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role offers weekday-only coverage with a mix of 8, 10, and 12 hour day shifts, caring for a broad range of surgical patients in a high-acuity setting using EPIC (Health Connect) for documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for general surgery, orthopedics, GI, GYN, neuro, ENT, and vascular cases
• Perform thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and develop safe, appropriate anesthetic plans
• Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia while independently managing the anesthetic
• Monitor and document patient status intraoperatively using EPIC (Health Connect)
• Provide postoperative evaluation and handoff to recovery staff
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nursing staff, and perioperative team members

Job Requirements

• Current, active Hawaii APRN license with CRNA designation
• NBCRNA certification in good standing
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Comfort working as an independent CRNA and managing a wide variety of case types
• Recent experience with general, ortho, GI, GYN, neuro, ENT, and vascular cases; regional blocks optional but preferred

Schedule & Work Environment

• Locum tenens assignment with start as soon as credentialed (emergency privileges available)
• Monday–Friday schedule, 40 hours per week
• Shift options: 8, 10, or 12 hours (7:00am–3:30pm, 7:00am–5:30pm, 7:00am–7:30pm)
• Independent practice model; must be comfortable working solo
• EPIC (Health Connect) electronic medical record
