Locum to Perm CRNA – Central Ohio | $210/hr + OT $275/hr

Job Description

Recruiting Resources is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum-to-permanent opportunity at a rural hospital in Central Ohio. This position offers immediate coverage needs, competitive pay, and the chance to transition into a permanent role after the initial 3-month block. CRNAs will work independently with 24/7 supervision support available.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent anesthesia services in a rural hospital setting.
• Case mix: Bread and butter cases, OB (epidurals required), pediatric ENT cases, and occasional “toe-lax” procedures.
• Perform epidurals for OB cases (large OB volume expected).
• Ensure safe patient care across adult, adolescent, and limited pediatric populations.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians as needed.

Compensation & Terms

• Hourly rate: $210/hr.
• Overtime: $275/hr (after 8 hours daily).
• Travel and lodging reimbursement provided.
• Malpractice insurance included through agency.
• 3-month locum block to start, with option to convert to permanent role.

Job Requirements

• NBCRNA-certified CRNA.
• Must hold an active Ohio CRNA license (required).
• Competence in performing OB epidurals is mandatory.
• Independent practice experience preferred, with strong decision-making skills.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
• Call: Weekday and weekend call required.
• Patient demographics: 85% adults, 10% OB (epidurals only), 3% adolescents, 2% pediatric (3–5 years, ENT cases only).
• Supportive rural hospital environment with 24/7 supervisory support.
