North Carolina Locum CRNA – No Call / 5x8s – $1,500 per day

Job Description

Full-time locum tenens CRNA opportunity in Northern North Carolina beginning May 18, 2026 through May 18, 2027. This is a one-year 1099 contract working five 8-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) with no call responsibilities. Providers will float within a hospital system in a high-volume, tertiary care environment with more than 20 operating rooms.

This position operates in a medical direction model. While the facility performs complex cardiac and thoracic cases, CRNAs will not be required to perform heart or lung cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in a hospital float pool covering the main hospital and affiliated sites
• Deliver anesthesia in a high-volume environment with 20+ operating rooms
• Participate in a medical direction model (approximately 90% medically directed)
• Provide care across NORA locations including IR, EP, Endoscopy, and MRI
• Utilize EPIC EMR, Drager anesthesia machines, and Philips monitoring systems

Compensation & Benefits

• $1,500 per day
• 1099 independent contractor status
• Full-time schedule: 5×8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
• No call requirements
• Malpractice coverage provided (tail 3/1 or occurrence-based)

Job Requirements

• Active North Carolina license required (Compact holders eligible for licensure)
• NBCRNA Board Certified
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience required
• ACLS and PALS required
• No new graduates
• Flexibility to float between sites required

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time locum assignment (May 18, 2026 – May 18, 2027)
• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• No first call
• No scheduled call responsibilities
• Hospital-based practice across multiple facilities
• Medical direction model
