Job Description

Northwest Medical Center Tucson is seeking multiple Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for locum tenens positions. This is an excellent opportunity to work independently in a supportive environment with competitive pay and flexible scheduling options.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a variety of cases, including general, orthopedic, vascular, urology, endoscopy, neuro, and OB
• Perform regional and nerve blocks independently
• Handle OB cases, including 24-hour in-house calls (if preferred)
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during the perioperative period
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive pay at $240/hr
• Flexible shift options: 8, 10, 12, and 16-hour shifts available
• Travel and malpractice insurance covered by the agency
• Call is preferred but not mandatory

Job Requirements

• Current CRNA certification
• Active Arizona RN and APRN licensure
• Clean NPDB (National Practitioner Data Bank) record
• Proficiency in regional and nerve blocks
• Ability to work independently without medical supervision

Schedule & Work Environment

• Locum tenens position
• Shifts available: 8, 10, 12, and 16 hours
• Optional 24-hour in-house OB call
• Wide variety of cases including OB, ortho, neuro, and vascular
