A thriving community hospital in Bon Air, Virginia is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for an ongoing locum tenens assignment. Practice Environment

This is a hospital-based anesthesia practice utilizing the Epic EMR system. The care model is MD-supervised with a 4:1 CRNA-to-MD ratio, and anesthesiologists also perform their own cases. The facility features modern operating rooms, expanding critical care services, and a well-established anesthesia team known for collaboration and respect for CRNAs.

• Orthopedic anesthesia
• Obstetrics

• EP and Cath Lab cases
• MRI anesthesia
• Vascular surgery
• ENT and plastics
• Urology
• Da Vinci robotic procedures

Schedule & Workload

• Locum tenens position
• Ongoing assignment with extension potential
• Mix of 10-hour and 12-hour shifts
• No in-house call
• No pager call on weeknights or weekends
• No overtime expected

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provision of anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical services
• Participation in a collaborative, MD-supervised care team
• Preoperative assessment and anesthesia planning
• Intraoperative management and patient monitoring
• Post-anesthesia care and clinical handoff

• Employment model: 1099

Candidate Requirements
