Oregon Locum CRNA – Critical Access Hospital – 4x10s / $220–$230/hr

Job Description

Zeal Med is seeking a locum CRNA for coverage at a Critical Access Hospital in northeast Oregon from 05/04 through 05/29. This assignment offers a 4 x 10-hour shift schedule with potential call opportunities and competitive hourly compensation.

The current anesthesia team includes 1 MD and 4 autonomous CRNAs. Providers should be comfortable practicing independently in a rural hospital setting with a variable daily case volume.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in a Critical Access Hospital environment
• Manage cases including spinals, OB, epidurals, endoscopy, cataracts, and peripheral nerve blocks
• Perform ultrasound-guided procedures (PICC line placement preferred but not required)
• Cover 2–4 operating rooms daily with average volume of 5–20 cases per day
• Participate in call coverage if assigned (OB proficiency required if taking call)
• Document care using EPIC EMR

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate: $220–$230
• OT/Pager Fee/Call Back: $251.90 – $263.35 per hour
• Weekend Call: $1,760 – $1,840 per 24 hours plus call back pay

Job Requirements

• Active Oregon license required
• Proficiency in OB required if participating in call
• Experience with spinals, epidurals, and regional anesthesia
• Ability to work autonomously in a rural hospital setting

Schedule & Work Environment

• Dates: 05/04 – 05/29
• Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts
• Call: Possibly 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend per month
• Critical Access Hospital setting
