Job Description

This full-time locum CRNA assignment near New Braunfels, Texas provides a stable Monday–Friday schedule, predictable hours, and a diverse inpatient case mix. CRNAs will work under medical direction in a modern hospital environment utilizing Cerner/Medaxion EMR. This role is ideal for experienced CRNAs seeking a structured weekday-only assignment with strong compensation and full travel support.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe anesthesia care within a medical direction model across several surgical specialties.
• Perform thorough pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans.
• Administer, manage, and monitor anesthesia throughout surgical procedures.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and ensure smooth patient recovery.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative teams.
• Document all care accurately using Cerner/Medaxion EMR systems.

Compensation & Schedule

• Daily Rate: $2,100 per day
• Schedule: 4×10-hour shifts per week
• Call: None
• Weekends: None
• Start Date: ASAP after credentialing (approx. 90 days)
• Travel & Lodging: Covered
• Employment Type: 1099

Job Requirements

• Active Texas CRNA license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience
• Competence in Orthopedics, Urology, General Surgery, GI, and GYN cases
• Ability to work full-time 4×10 schedule with consistent weekday availability
