Urgent Locum CRNA Assignment – Hospital-Based Practice in Wyoming
Position Overview
A hospital-based anesthesia team in Wyoming is seeking an experienced locum tenens CRNA for ongoing coverage beginning immediately. This assignment is structured for approximately three weeks per month and runs through June 30, 2026. The role supports a mixed surgical service line in a modern facility and offers a predictable weekday schedule with compensated call responsibilities.
Practice Environment
- Hospital setting with 4 operating rooms
- Dedicated endoscopy suite and obstetric suite
- Anesthesia care team model
- Team includes 7 anesthesiologists and 4 CRNAs
- Collaborative, well-established anesthesia department
Clinical Case Mix
- Orthopedic surgery (strong regional focus)
- ENT procedures
- Uncomplicated pediatric cases
- Rare trauma and transport cases
- Occasional pacemaker cases
- Labor and delivery with epidural placement required
- No cardiac, neuro, or vascular anesthesia
Schedule & Call Responsibilities
- Primary schedule: 8-hour weekday shifts
- 10-hour shifts available based on coverage needs
- Weeknight call: 1–2 nights per week
- Weekend call required on a rotating basis
- Post-call day off provided when significant overnight call occurs
- Additional compensation for call, callbacks, and overtime
Compensation & Reimbursement
- Competitive hourly rate with 8-hour daily minimum (Monday–Friday)
- Overtime and callback pay at premium rates
- Overtime rounded to the nearest 15 minutes
- Weeknight and weekend call stipends
- Daily meal per diem while on assignment
- Full travel reimbursement including flights, mileage, rental car, and lodging
- Malpractice insurance provided and compliant with state and facility requirements
Licensure & Requirements
- Active Wyoming CRNA license required
- Comfort with independent labor epidural placement
- Experience with regional anesthesia strongly preferred
- Ability to integrate into a hospital-based care team
