A well-established hospital in Gillette, Wyoming is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens assignment. The anesthesia team consists of four anesthesiologists and seven CRNAs, offering a collaborative environment with a broad but manageable case mix.
This position is ideal for CRNAs comfortable taking call and practicing across a variety of cases, including a strong orthopedic and regional anesthesia focus. The facility offers competitive hourly rates, robust call compensation, and comprehensive travel and lodging support.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for orthopedic, ENT, pediatric (non-complex), and general surgery cases
- Perform regional anesthesia and epidurals for obstetric deliveries
- Participate in first-call rotation as needed
- Respond to trauma and transport cases when required
- Maintain accurate and timely anesthesia documentation
Compensation & Benefits
- $215 per hour with an 8-hour daily minimum (Monday–Friday)
- $240 per hour for hours worked beyond 8 per day
- Weeknight first-call stipend: $400 (M–F)
- Callback rate: $240 per hour with 2-hour minimum per callback
- Weekend call: $1,800 per 24 hours (includes first 2 hours of callbacks)
- Additional callbacks paid at $240 per hour with 2-hour minimum
- $35 per day meal per diem
- Lodging provided
- Mileage reimbursed round-trip from home base
- Malpractice insurance provided by agency (ProAssurance)
Job Requirements
- Current CRNA certification in good standing
- Eligibility for licensure in the state of Wyoming
- Comfort with regional anesthesia and obstetric epidurals
- Willingness to take weekday and weekend call
- Ability to work collaboratively within a care team model
Schedule & Work Environment
- Locum tenens assignment with weekday coverage
- 8-hour shifts with some 10-hour shifts available
- Hospital-based anesthesia practice
- Call opportunities available and encouraged
