Job Description
AMN Healthcare is seeking three experienced CRNAs for an immediate-start locum tenens assignment in Tyler, Texas. This role offers a rapid 48-hour credentialing process, making it an excellent opportunity for CRNAs who are available quickly and seeking steady Monday–Friday daytime work. Providers will work 5×8-hour shifts with a guaranteed 40-hour workweek, no call, and no weekend responsibilities. CRNAs will join a busy, well-organized care-team environment covering a broad range of surgical specialties across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Required case types include orthopedics, ENT, ophthalmology, oral rehabilitation, spine, and general outpatient procedures. CRNAs are not required to perform blocks, allowing a predictable and efficient daily workflow. AMN Healthcare covers lodging at $200 per day worked, plus mileage reimbursement, ensuring a seamless travel experience for locum providers. This assignment is ideally suited for CRNAs who enjoy structured schedules, diverse surgical exposure, and a supportive anesthesia team without the burden of call or extended hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services within a medically directed care-team model
- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and create individualized anesthetic plans
- Deliver anesthesia care across a broad range of required case types
- Monitor and manage physiologic status throughout intraoperative periods
- Support safe recovery and postoperative care
Compensation & Benefits
- 1099 contractor role

Job Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Active Texas CRNA license (required)
- NBCRNA certification
- Comfort working within a medically directed care-team model
- Ability to manage anesthesia for multiple surgical specialties
