CRNA Opening in North-Central Indiana – OB Skills Needed + 24-Hour Call Option

Job Description

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is seeking a board-certified CRNA to provide locum tenens coverage at a hospital in north-central Indiana. This is a flexible opportunity with both day shifts and 24-hour in-house call options. CRNAs must have strong OB experience and the ability to work independently overnight in the OB unit. Paid travel and lodging are included, making this a great option for locums seeking a clinically diverse, well-supported assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures including OB, ortho, GI, cardiac, ENT, neuro, and bread-and-butter cases
• Independently manage labor and delivery anesthesia, including epidurals and C-sections
• Work independently overnight during 24-hour in-house call shifts
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary care team across 8 ORs, a cardiac suite, and an OB unit

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Board certified with active state licensure or eligibility in Indiana
• Must have experience in obstetric anesthesia and performing epidurals
• Comfortable working independently during overnight OB coverage

Schedule & Work Environment

• Flexible shifts: 7a–3p or 24-hour in-house call (7a–7a)
• Surgical volume: 22 OR cases + 8–10 endoscopies per day
• Delivery volume: 1200–1300/year with 300–350 C-sections
• EMR system: Cerner
• Level 3 trauma facility with 8 ORs, 1 dedicated OB, and 1 cardiac room
