Posted 2 months ago / Updated December, 2025

Job Description

A high-volume hospital system in Upstate New York is seeking experienced CRNAs for a long-term locum tenens assignment. This opportunity offers premium hourly compensation, a generous weekly stipend, and flexible scheduling options with either four or five workdays per week. CRNAs must be able to commit to a minimum of two weeks per month, making this an excellent option for clinicians seeking consistent locums income with scheduling flexibility.

The practice features a large, well-resourced surgical department with approximately 30 operating rooms, including main ORs, dedicated C-section rooms, cardiac ORs, trauma ORs, and specialty areas such as cath lab, EP, and biplane suites. The case mix is broad and engaging, consisting primarily of bread-and-butter anesthesia with additional exposure to orthopedics, regional blocks, vascular, spine, and thoracic cases. OB experience is preferred but not required, and there is no cardiac responsibility for locum CRNAs.

This assignment uses the Epic EMR system and offers a streamlined credentialing process with an anticipated start approximately 60 days from offer. Candidates with 2–3 years of experience are preferred, and the facility is open to CRNAs who are not yet licensed in New York, making this a strong opportunity for providers looking to expand into a new state.
