Independent OB-Focused Locum CRNA Opportunity – Long Branch
Job Description
A high-acuity OB locum assignment is available in Long Branch, New Jersey, offering flexible 12-hour, 24-hour, night, and weekend shifts. This role is ideal for CRNAs experienced in obstetric anesthesia who prefer an independent practice environment with strong schedule variety.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for C-sections, labor epidurals, OB procedures, and spinal anesthesia
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments for obstetric patients
- Manage anesthesia intraoperatively and monitor maternal/fetal stability
- Respond to emergency OB situations and provide rapid anesthesia interventions
- Document all anesthesia care in Epic EMR

Job Requirements
- Active New Jersey APRN license
- NBCRNA certification
- ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Strong OB anesthesia experience (epidurals, spinals, C-sections)
- Comfortable practicing independently
Schedule & Work Environment
- Shifts available: 12s, 24s, nights, Saturday–Sunday
- No call
- Independent practice model
- Credentialing time: 60–90 days
