Practice Environment

This is a hospital-based anesthesia practice within a 123-bed facility. The role is a supervised CRNA position with no AAs present in the practice. Credentialing can be expedited for candidates with a clean background, allowing for a relatively quick start. The anesthesia team focuses on efficient workflows and consistent case volume.

Case Mix & Anesthesia Scope

• Bread and butter anesthesia cases
• Outpatient surgery cases common
• Orthopedic anesthesia frequently performed
• Office-based anesthesia as needed
• Obstetric and pediatric anesthesia negotiable
• No cardiac, thoracic, vascular, neuro, trauma, or chronic pain cases

Schedule & Workload

• Locum tenens position
• Monday through Friday schedule
• 8-hour shifts
• No nights
• No weekends
• No call responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

• Delivery of anesthesia care for routine surgical procedures
• Participation in supervised anesthesia care model
• Preoperative assessment and intraoperative management
• Post-anesthesia handoff and documentation
• Performance of regional or invasive procedures as negotiated

Compensation & Employment Structure

• Locum compensation: $1,700–$2,000 per day
• Hourly rate equivalent: $220–$250 per hour

• Active Indiana CRNA license required
