Locum CRNA – $250/hr + Full Travel Coverage | Independent Practice – Eastern Iowa

Job Description

We need experienced locum tenens CRNAs for an independent practice assignment in Eastern Iowa. This is a high-paying role offering full expense coverage and the opportunity to work autonomously in a supportive environment. A 4–6 month contract is available with the potential to extend.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage all aspects of anesthesia care in a hospital setting
• Perform pre-op assessments, administer anesthesia, and oversee post-op recovery
• Provide call coverage as part of the rotating schedule
• Maintain thorough documentation and patient safety protocols

Compensation & Benefits

• $250/hour (equivalent to $2,000–$2,500/day)
• All travel expenses covered: rental car, mileage reimbursement, flights, lodging
• Malpractice insurance and licensing fees covered

Job Requirements

• Active Iowa CRNA license or eligibility
• NBCRNA certification
• Must be comfortable working independently
• Willingness to take call as part of the schedule

Schedule & Work Environment

• 5×8 weekday schedule
• Call coverage required
• Initial contract: 4–6 months with extension option
• Start date: As soon as credentialed
