Job Description
This locum tenens CRNA opportunity supports a hospital-based anesthesia service in Southern Illinois with a clear operational focus: reliable weekday coverage, a defined case mix, and no call obligations. The facility is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist who can integrate smoothly into an established hospital environment and provide consistent clinical coverage as part of a planned 2026 staffing need.
The assignment is designed for CRNAs who prefer predictable schedules and hospital-based workflows without overnight, weekend, or call responsibilities. Coverage begins immediately and is ongoing, making this a strong option for clinicians seeking stability without long-term commitment.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for scheduled inpatient and outpatient surgical cases
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and intraoperative anesthesia management
- Monitor patients throughout all phases of anesthesia care
- Document anesthesia care in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and perioperative teams to maintain efficient case flow

Schedule & Coverage Structure
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- No call requirements

Compensation & Assignment Support
- Daily rate starting at $2,000 per day

Job Requirements
- Active Illinois CRNA license or ability to obtain
- Current NBCRNA certification
- Active ACLS certification
