Locum Tenens CRNA in Kankakee – $15K Completion Bonus
Job Description
A national private practice partner is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a locum tenens assignment in Kankakee, Illinois. This opportunity offers a structured schedule, predictable workload, and a substantial completion bonus for CRNAs looking for a focused, well-supported assignment without call responsibilities.
The assignment begins as soon as credentialing is complete and is designed for providers who value consistency and efficiency. CRNAs will work alongside anesthesiologists in a supervised care team model, with clear expectations and streamlined workflows. With no in-house, pager, or weekend call requirements, this position allows for a strong work–life balance throughout the duration of the contract.
Schedule & Assignment Details
- Assignment length: 20 weeks
- Completion bonus: $15,000 for 13 weeks / 520 hours
- Shift options: 8-hour or 10-hour shifts
- Overtime: Not expected
- Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 60 days
- Illinois license required (must already be active)
Clinical Environment
- Case mix includes general surgery and orthopedics
- Five anesthesia rooms
- Care team model with MD supervision
- CRNA to MD ratio: 2:1
- Anesthesiologists perform their own cases
- Charting system: iPro
