Locum CRNA – Dallas — Weekday GI & IR Coverage With No Call or Weekends
Job Description
This locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) opportunity is located in Dallas, Texas and offers a highly desirable weekday-only schedule with no call, no weekends, and a flexible workload. The assignment is ideal for CRNAs seeking predictable hours, a well-supported medical direction model, and a focused case mix in a large metropolitan setting.
The contract length is six months, with a start date as soon as credentialing is complete. Credentialing does not require cross-credentialing and typically takes approximately 120 days. The preferred schedule is Tuesday through Friday, with flexibility to work either 40 hours per week or a reduced 36-hour schedule. This structure allows for consistency while still offering work-life balance.
CRNAs in this role will work primarily in gastrointestinal and interventional radiology settings, with occasional assignments in the operating room covering routine surgical cases such as colorectal and gynecologic oncology procedures. All documentation is completed using the Epic electronic medical record system.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services under a medical direction model
- Deliver care primarily for GI and interventional radiology procedures
- Occasionally assist with routine operating room cases
- Ensure safe and effective anesthesia management throughout procedures
- Accurately document anesthesia care using the Epic EMR system
Schedule & Work Environment
- Locum tenens assignment
- Six-month contract
- Preferred schedule: Tuesday through Friday
- 36–40 hours per week
- No call responsibilities
- No weekends
- Medical direction practice model
Job Requirements
- Active NBCRNA certification
- Texas CRNA license
- Ability to work in a medically directed environment
- Comfort with GI, IR, and routine OR cases
Compensation & Coverage
- 1099 independent contractor position
- Medical malpractice coverage provided by Anesthesia OnCall
- Travel reimbursement available
